Spellblades choosing this Discipline focus on protecting others from harm through abjuration magic. Guardians normally serve as elite guards for monarchs or wandering swordsman defending the innocent.
When you take this Discipline at 3rd level, you enhance your Aegis abilities.
You gain access to Discipline spells at the noted Spellblade levels. Once you gain an Discipline spell, you always have it prepared and it doesn't count against the number of spells you can prepare each day.

At 3rd level, you can mark an area under your protection. You can cast the alarm spell even if you haven't prepared it. You can use this feature a number of times equal to 1 + your Intelligence modifier. When you finish a Long Rest, you regain all expended uses.
Starting at 7th level, when you target a friendly creature with a spell or Aegis ability, they gain temporary hit points equal to your Intelligence modifier. For Aegis of Assault, the creature you teleport to defend gains the temporary hit points.
Beginning at 15th level, all friendly creature within 15 feet of you gain the benefit of your Spell Ward. At 17th level, the radius of this feature is 30 feet.
When you reach 20th level, you can spend an action to radiate abjuring magic around you for 1 minute. You gain resistance to all damage.
When you targeting a friendly creature with a spell or Aegis ability, they can also gain this resistance. For Aegis of Assault, the creature you teleport to defend gains the resistance. All resistances granted to other creatures end when your resistance ends.
You can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
